Dennis A. Breen

Of Counsel For civil law

Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. where he attended school and played football at St. Francis Prep and St. Francis College. Transferred to SUNY Brockport where he got a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Following graduation and working for several years, he attended SUNY at Binghamton where he got a Master’s Degree in Teaching. After working for several years he attended the University of Dayton School of Law where he met his wife and started his legal career.

After 22 years working as a defense attorney for some of the best civil defense firms in New York City he was recruited to join a boutique plaintiff’s injury firm where he worked for 15 years until the office closed.

During his tenure in New York, he published several articles in “The Defendant,” published a legal form book with John Moore and published an article in the New York Law Journal. Tried countless Civil cases and argued a large number of motions and appeals.

Dennis became “of counsel” to the Guirguis Law Firm on Civil matters and is proud to say he works with some of the finest, most dedicated lawyers and staff he has ever had the honor to work with.

Presently Dennis is also building a Paralegal program at Brunswick Community College and working on a new book.
