Providing Faith-Based Legal Services In Raleigh
Our founding attorney, Nardine Guirguis, established Guirguis Law, P.A., in Raleigh, based on Christian principles, and it remains a Christian-based law firm today. Our law firm is unique not only in our service but also in our offerings.
Attorney Guirguis recognized early in her career that immigration law intersects with nearly every other area of law, and she intentionally tailored her firm to concentrate on those intersections to better serve her community. We provide assistance to noncitizens and citizens alike.

A Team-Based Approach Yields Innovative Ideas
At Guirguis Law, P.A., we believe the best results are achieved by working as a team. Our combined efforts produce diverse perspectives and a broad range of innovative ideas. This allows us to represent our clients to the fullest and provide the most favorable outcome. We provide legal counsel and advice in the following areas:
- Immigration law: We provide legal support for immigration challenges, including the facilitation of petitions for employment visas, family visas, lawful permanent residency (green cards) and naturalization. We also provide deportation defense during removal proceedings.
- Criminal law: We provide criminal defense for clients facing felony and misdemeanor charges, including DWIs, drug charges and accusations of domestic violence.
- Family law: We assist clients who are navigating divorce and dealing with child custody and child support.
- Personal injury: We represent victims of accidents caused by others’ negligence in personal injury lawsuits.
- Estate planning: We help our clients with their estate planning needs, including comprehensive will and trust drafting and preparation.
Our founding attorney, Nardine Guirguis, is a North Carolina Board-Certified Specialist in Federal and State Criminal Law, one of only seven total in the Raleigh area.
Called to her work by a strong personal and spiritual faith and the desire to vigorously defend clients of all needs, she has built an office around the ideas of tireless effort and universal respect for clients in Raleigh and throughout North Carolina.
The Intersection Of Immigration Law And Criminal Defense
Immigration law intersects with many different practice areas. One such area is the intersection between criminal law and immigration law – “crimmigration.” Due to our attorneys’ backgrounds in immigration law and both federal and state criminal law, the attorneys at Guirguis Law are fully equipped to assist noncitizens facing criminal problems.
Because of the complex nature of immigration law and its intersection with federal and state criminal law, it is crucial that noncitizens facing criminal charges speak with someone knowledgeable in both areas of law. Our team works together to ensure that we address more than the criminal law matter. This forward-looking approach is just one example of how we serve “people” not just “problems.”
The Intersection Of Immigration Law And Family Law
Another intersection that Guirguis Law concentrates on is the intersection between immigration law and family law. Family-related issues can help or hinder immigration issues, or even create problems with immigration status. Our family law attorney works closely with our immigration attorneys to ensure that we are treating the person and fully advising him/her on how family-related issues can or may affect an immigration matter.
Providing Legal Support For Noncitizens
Additionally, at Guirguis Law, P.A., we recognize that noncitizens are frequently taken advantage of because of their status. We also know that noncitizens are often fearful of taking legal action against those who have wronged them. We serve noncitizens by fighting against such wrongs, be it employment discrimination, worker’s compensation, breach of contract or personal injury.
We will address any fears or concerns in a respectful and understanding manner while fighting to make you whole. We serve citizens and noncitizens alike with the same tenacity and respect in their criminal, family, and civil matters; our passion to succeed for our clients is a constant.
Our Foundation In Faith
Because of our faith-based foundation, we hold ourselves to an even higher standard of service. We seek to serve the “person” and not just the “problem” because we know that clients deserve more. We offer our clients:
- Multilingual support for clients speaking English, Spanish and Arabic
- After-hours and weekend consultations
- Phone consultations
- Skype consultations
- In-jail visits and consultations
- Strong lines of communication that keep you informed and involved
- Reasonable payment plans
- A total commitment to our clients and their needs
Everyone who comes into our office, regardless of why they need legal services, is a person deserving of respect, zealous advocacy and understanding. We will greet you with a beverage and listen first, then talk.
