Roxanna Aguilera, known to friends and family as “Roxy,” joined Guirguis Law in April 2019. She has extensive law firm background ranging from real estate to family law to federal criminal defense. She currently serves as our federal defense paralegal where she strives to provide the best legal assistance she can alongside our Federal Criminal Attorney. Helping others has always been her passion and decided to pursue a career as a paralegal when she was first given the opportunity to come on as a legal assistant in another firm.
From her warm greeting smile or when you speak with her over the phone and her strong southern twang comes out, you can immediately feel the comfort in the type of person she is and how she represents the firm. She will pour her heart and soul into your case to make sure that the client can obtain the best possible outcome. She is also one of our bilingual paralegals and is fluent in the Spanish language.
On her days away from the firm, she loves to spend her time at home with her wonderful husband and their two furbabies, Baxter and Boston. She loves to also explore the beautiful places that North Carolina has to offer, from the high peaks of the mountains to the sandy beaches off the coast.
She is of Catholic Faith and this was instilled in her by her parents at an early age. Her Faith makes her the person she is today and it gives her the strength to do what she loves. She was born and raised in North Carolina, but do not let that Southern accent fool you, she comes from two wonderful Mexican parents that sacrificed so much so that she and her siblings could have the “American Dream.” “I sincerely thank my parents for making me the woman I am today. Had they not sacrificed their dreams for us, who knows where we would be. Thank you mom and dad.”
