According to USA Today, ALE agents arrested 158 people on Friday, December 1, 2017 in a statewide sting. ALE conducted the sting with the intention to stop a trend of recent violence in night clubs around the state. Raleigh was included in this sting.
Those arrested were charged with a myriad of offenses, including misdemeanor and felony drug possession. Additionally, some establishments lost their ABC permits, including Red Bowl Asian Bistro off of Capital Boulevard in Raleigh.
